A large warehouse facility under construction required heavy steel beams and structural elements to be delivered and positioned at height inside the building. The beams needed to be lifted and placed with precision among existing steelwork and racking, with the HiAb truck operating inside the warehouse itself.
Our Kirwan Haulage HiAb crane truck drove directly into the warehouse to perform the lifts on site. Using the Palfinger crane, we lifted the steel beams from the trailer and positioned them at height among the existing structural framework. Working inside the building required careful manoeuvring of both the truck and crane boom to avoid contact with columns, racking, and other steelwork already in place.
All steel beams were delivered and positioned as specified by the construction team. The ability to drive the HiAb truck inside the building eliminated the need for a separate mobile crane, saving the client time and cost. The precision of our Palfinger crane allowed accurate placement even in the tight working environment of the partially completed warehouse.
